By submitting or providing your Personal Data, you consent to the use of your Personal Data collected by GIT and all persons involved in the provision of services, recruitment and communicating with you, in the manner as set out in this Notice.
GIT shall have the right to modify, update or amend the terms of this Notice at any time by placing the updated Notice on the Website. By continuing to communicate with GIT or by continuing to use GIT’s services following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Notice shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.

We collect only personally identifiable information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you. We receive various types of private and Personal Data in the course of your communicating with GIT or by continuing to use GIT’s services, including but not limited to the following:-

b. any information which may identify you, your spouse or family members
In addition to the Personal Data you provide to GIT directly, GIT may also collect your Personal Data from a variety of sources, including without limitation at any meetings, events, conferences, seminars or talks organised or sponsored or attended by GIT and/or from the cookies used on the website (kindly refer to 8. From time to time you may also voluntarily provide GIT with unsolicited personal information – that is, other than where GIT has requested same (for example, through the GIT websites). GIT does not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of Personal Data. If GIT is informed by you that any of your Personal Data which we have collected is no longer accurate, GIT will only make appropriate corrections based on the updated information provided by you. GIT is committed to providing reasonable and practical access to you for the opportunity to identify and correct any inaccuracies. When requested and practical, GIT will delete identifying information from current operational systems.

All GIT employees follow a network-wide security policy. In particular, we ensure that all appropriate confidentiality obligations and technical and organisational security measures are in place to prevent any unauthorised or unlawful disclosure or processing of such information and data and the accidental loss or destruction of or damage to such information and data. Only authorised persons are provided access to personally identifiable information.
7. Cross border transfer
Personal Data collected by GIT may be transferred to other individual GIT firms, which are member firms of the worldwide GIT organisation, where it is necessary (i) to meet the purpose for which you have submitted the information; or (ii) to enable you to be provided with information at a later date which may be of relevance and interest to you based on the nature and purpose of your requests; or (iii) maintaining our operations or client relationship management systems; or (iv) quality and risk management reviews; or (v) for marketing purposes. Your personal information may also be transferred to third party service providers who process information on GIT’s behalf, including providers of information technology, identity management, website hosting and management, data analysis, data back-up, security and storage services. By submitting data to GIT, you are providing explicit consent for cross border transmission of data collected for the fulfilment of your requests.
